CALL FOR WORKS
APPLICATIONS ACCEPTED AND REJECTED
The Organizing Committee for the Call for Works of the 13th International Architecture Biennale of São Paulo presents below the list of accepted and rejected applications.
As presented in item 9.10 of the Call for Works (available at www.english.bienaldearquitetura.org.br/call-for-works ), for rejected proposals, an appeal will be possible within five working days from the publication of the list on the IABsp and 13th Biennale websites (until December 28th, 2021), which must be presented in writing and sent by e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org .
And as presented in item 9.11 of the same Call, the appeals will be analyzed by the Organizing Committee and by the IABsp’s legal team, which will decide within a period of up to five working days in order to reconsider or maintain the appealed decision. In the text of the resource, additional information or documents of any nature that modify the original proposal will not be accepted.

Continuing the practice initiated at the last International Architecture Biennale of São Paulo, the Institute of Architects of Brazil – Department of São Paulo (IABsp) opens this call for works to gather proposals for the exhibition Produções Insurgentes (Insurgent Productions) at the 13th edition of the International Architecture Biennale of São Paulo, which will take place in the city of São Paulo, from May 21 to July 10, 2022, at Centro Cultural São Paulo (CCSP).
The works should propose reflections on historical or recent forms of oppression, and taking them into account, point to practices that provide for technical and constructive diversity, accessible technologies, collective appropriation of spaces, participatory and collective management processes, environmental preservation or reconstitution practices, proposals for occupations and common appropriations in the territories.
The registration must contain the complete documentation requested, in Portuguese, Spanish or English. Proponents may be individuals or groups of any nationality or country of residence.
Deadline for registration: December 15, 2021.
